Spiritual and Healing Properties of Hematite:

               Hematite is a mysterious, silvery stone used to built strength, self confidance, and yang energy.  Its iron content links it to the blood, and is often used to promote strength and purification of the blood.  Magnetic hematite can be used to relieve pain, and strengthen joints, tendons, muscles, and ligaments.  Hematite is a powerful protective stone, shielding the spirit from negativity, and warming the system. Placed near the root chakra, hematite promotes groundedness.
