Zinc

Zinc is needed in more than one hundred different enzymes and is most likely involved in more body functions than any other mineral.  Zinc is important in maintenance of body tissues, sexual functions, immunity, and normal growth and development.  Unfortunately, zinc is severely depleted in the soils.

Zinc is also needed in carbohydrate metabolism and the synthesis of DNA, which aids in healing.  Zinc is helpful in reducing the body’s healing time after surgery, and is often used as a natural cure or alternative therapy for prostate diseases, skin diseases, allergies, and as an immune booster.

Zinc deficiency symptoms include:

Aging                      Poor sexual function
